If your ever looking for a great place to dine when your in Laguna Beach, try K'ya. It's the restaurant in the Casa Del Camino hotel (cross streets are Cress and PCH. Awesome food and small plates available so you can try lots of different things. The rooftop of the hotel also has a bar and an incredible view.

When I make reservatons for the K'YA should I request any specific place? I assume there must be some places that allow for a beautifull ocean view.

Hi Kelly, Actually K'ya, although it's on the oceanside of Coast Hwy, doesn't have ocean view seating. The rooftop of the hotel does, but it has been closed for remodeling. If you decide to still eat there, I recommend seating near the windows, which offer a view of Coast Hwy. The soups are always good, my favorite appetizer is the Ahi Poke. Even though they don't have ocean view dining, it's still a great restaurant. But if you really want to dine with an ocean view, come to where I work as a bartender, Splashes restaurant, located in the Surf & Sand Hotel. The bar is the closest bar to the sand on all of the Pacific Coast. It feels like your on a boat, your so close to the ocean. The food is delicious and affordable, great wine list, and I of course, make a fabulous cocktail. I recommend the Wild Salmon or Sea Bass. And reservations are a good idea. Hope this helps!

Hi Skim

I was wondering when the work being done on the roof and to the restaurant is projected to be done? I will be out there in the fall and I am hoping that the roof top is open.

Hi Kelly, Good news! The rooftop has reopened. They open Mon-Fri at 4:30pm and on Sat & Sun @ 11:30am. They serve appetizers and cocktails on the roof. But, if your still interested in dining @ K'ya downstairs the # for reservations is (949)497-2446. K'ya is inside the Casa Del Camino Hotel located at 1289 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach 92651.
