Growing up and actually living on the Santa Monica Beach was truly memorable, Peter Lawford was my next door neighbor--we played volleyball together--even entered one tournament. I also was an operator on the Pacific Ocean Park Roller Coaster--POP--for 6 years!

Saw numerous celebrities--Frank Sinatra often laned his helicopter on the public beach and took the Lawford kids for rides. Had my picture taken with JFK while body surfing--made the front page of the Santa Monica Evening Outlook...long long ago--Red Allante
